It's hard for me to put into words the heartbreak that people suffered after we lost tiny Connor. I cannot even begin to imagine where my brother Chris and his fiance Paula summoned the strength to even get out of bed in the morning. They are two of the bravest people I've ever known.
Connor was born on the 20th January 2005 with his twin Lewis, when Paula was just 23 1/2 weeks pregnant, he weighed just 1 lb 9.
He managed to stay with his mum and dad for just 11 hours before his body gave up the fight and he passed away in his sleep.
God looked around his garden,
And saw an empty space,
Then he looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tiny face,
He wrapped his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best,
He knew that you was suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
And the angels will be smiling now because they have you to gain,
So take our millions of teardrops,
And wrap them up in love,
And ask the wind to carry them,
Into the heavens above.
